2.
Is it alright to cut
HardiFlex®3.5mm
Fiber
Cement Board with a handsaw?
No. Use HardiFlex®
Scoring Knife for cutting HardiFlex®3.5mm

5.
What are the types of
paints that can be used for HardiFlex®
Fiber Cement Board?
The
most economical type of paint recommended
for HardiFlex®
Fiber
Cement Boards are
water-based (latex) paints. Acrylic, Vinyl,
PVA, are all water-based paints. Acrylic can
be used for both external and internal applications.
Vinyl and PVA are for internal applications.
Oil-based (Alkyds or Enamel) paints can also
be used on HardiFlex®
Fiber
Cement Boards, although
they would cost more than water-based. These
types of paint also need undercoats because
these paints soak in too far.
